Help evaluate an AI-powered financial analysis platform designed for accounting professionals.
We are running a structured evaluation program with early-career accounting professionals to assess Prefiler, a financial analysis platform designed for chartered accountants and compliance teams. Participants will review financial transaction datasets, run them through the Prefiler platform, and evaluate how effectively the system classifies transactions, identifies risks, and generates clarification questions used in real accounting workflows.
About the Program
This research program invites early-career accounting professionals to evaluate an AI-powered financial analysis platform designed to assist accountants before tax filing.
The system analyzes financial data, identifies potential risks, and generates clarification questions accountants typically ask clients.
Participants will review outputs produced by the platform and submit structured evaluation feedback.
The objective is to improve the system using real professional insights from accounting workflows.
Platform Evaluation Process
Shortlisted participants will receive a small financial transaction dataset along with instructions to evaluate the Prefiler platform.
Participants will create an account on Prefiler, upload the dataset, and run the platform's analysis tools.
The goal is to evaluate how the system performs in realistic accounting scenarios and whether the outputs are useful for professional review workflows.
Participants will review:
- Transaction classification results generated by the platform
- Risk indicators identified during analysis
- Clarification questions suggested for ambiguous transactions
- Usability of the workflow for real accounting review processes
The evaluation focuses on understanding how Prefiler supports accountants during pre-filing financial analysis.

Evaluation Task
Shortlisted applicants will receive a sample financial transaction dataset that must be analyzed using the Prefiler platform.
Participants will run the dataset through the system and evaluate how accurately the platform analyzes financial records and identifies potential compliance risks.
Participants will be asked to review the outputs and prepare a short professional report similar to structured audit observations.
What Your Report Should Cover
- Classification of transactions (income, expense, transfer, or unclear)
- Transactions that require clarification from the client
- Questions an accountant should ask to verify the financial records
- Potential accounting or compliance risks identified in the dataset
The report does not need to be long. A clear, structured professional explanation is sufficient.
How the Evaluation Works
Shortlisted candidates will receive access instructions for the Prefiler platform along with the evaluation dataset.
Participants will create an account, upload the dataset, run the system's analysis, and review the outputs before preparing their evaluation report.
After submitting your application, shortlisted candidates will receive the evaluation dataset and detailed instructions via email.
Participants will prepare a short analysis report and share a public document link (Google Docs, Notion, or a similar platform) for review.
The document must be accessible through a public link so it can be viewed without login.
Only a limited number of applicants will be invited to complete the evaluation task.
Application Process
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Shortlisted candidates will receive the evaluation dataset and instructions to complete the analysis task.
This research program is intentionally limited to a small number of participants to ensure high-quality professional feedback.
